         Jay Alan Zimmerman is the composer/author of several full-length stage musicals including  JAY ALAN ZIMMERMAN’S INCREDIBLY DEAF MUSICAL — selected “Pick of The Fringe” by The Washington Post, and MY CAFE CINDERELLA — presented by Arts and Artists of St. Paul and starring Jessica Phillips (Next To Normal) and Henry Shead (Stomp).  He co-authored the musical film THE MADNESS CHANNEL with playwright Craig Pospisil and starring Lisa Brescia (Wicked) with James Reimer, Rebekah Jacobs, Kelly Ellenwood, Edmound Fitzpatrick, Willam Paul Michals, and many other Broadway singers.

     His variety/cabaret shows include SMOKIN’ at The Duplex with Kevin Massey, Matt Lutz, Mick Bleyer, Sierra Rein, and Lori Marinacci;  The Jay Alan Zimmerman Show at the Zipper Theatre; and featured composer of Big Night Out at Dillons.

     Short musicals include the award-winning short films PAWNS and LOVE BURNS, and the short opera film EVIL EYE based on Edgar Allen Poe's “The Tell-Tale Heart” starring Dirk Weiler .

     Current works-in-progress include the musicals I.M.: THE INVISIBLE MAN MUSICAL and POMES:  THE TRU STORIE OF WERGLE FLOMP AND OTHR $49.95 POETS — about the worst poetry ever written and how it became famous.
